Mac OS X 10.8 seems to be a more incremental update than 10.7. It is still a good idea to check compatibility for your production software before upgrading.

Datacolor Spyder
Datacolor reports no known issues with their software and OS X 10.8 as long as you use the most recent installers. However, they note that you must set the Gatekeeper security feature to “Medium” to be able to install their applications:

Monitor Calibration
Datacolor notes that OS X 10.7.4 and 10.8 reintroduces a feature that was removed in 10.7.0. This is the 64-step finetuning of monitor brightness during calibration. This blog post explains how to access the feature:
